Hi there, I was searching the web for diabetes forums and I found you guys:) Sorry if theres a lot of bad spelling...

In Norway there isn't a forum for diabetes odly enough even though it is the fastest growing diagonse...

I'm not diabetic but my son born in '99 is and has been for almost 3 years he now has a pump and it has made his life much better. He is now more free to visit friends he just calles us to know what doses he needs for different foods.. His last Hba1c was 7,2 and we are quite pleased with that

I'm am on the bord in the diabetes accosiation in our town as the childrens voice, this gives me a lot as I feel I can give a lot to the kids. We organize trips and meets for them.

My son just changed dentist and as the dentist asked for diseases I said he was diabetic, my son was shocked as he couln't understand that diabetes is a disease at all... I like to say that it isn't..

Welcome aboard, Norway.

This site has visitors from around the world. Glad you found it.

Don't fret over mis-spelled words. Not many pedants here.

Best wishes for your son.

Welcome Diamum. I love that we have members from so many different places, not only do we get more diabetes input, but we get to see how other people live. I'm sorry that your little guy has to deal with this, and it is a shame there isn't another name for it besides disease. Sounds like he (and you) do a good job.
