Does anybody know whether you can work in radiology field (as an x-ray tech, MRI tech, etc) with a pump? I know if you are having radiation exposure you should remove the pump, but....

(but)...when just in the field of the equipment, the pump should be alright as long as you're shielded?

Im pretty sure any type of radiation is not good. If u work in a feild where you get exposed to radiation your body would probally melt away before your pump. I would say if it's safe for you its safe for your pump.
Although dont get ur pump close to any MRIs. Magnets and inductors will definatly screw up your pump hardcore.
Either way you can aways disconect a pump for a good while no problem.
