A1c after three months

Three months ago my a1c was 10.6.

Yesterday it was measured at 5.6.

I use Lantus and Symlin.

Cholesterol was 98, pretty normal for me.

I'm happy as a clam!

i went for my bloodtest this morning, and should have my results back by friday at my appointment.... so ill know then what my 2nd a1c will be.... i cant wait to see

Great job! I should get my result tomorrow at my endo's. Don't know why she decided I needed another one since my GP just did one in December...she's weird I guess.

I get my results tomorrow too. I know it wasn't good. Seem the more we "tweek" this pump, the worse my control gets. When I first hooked up it was better. I am starting to get very discouraged. My sugars just jump all around, no rhyme or rhythm or cause. I feel like they think I am not doing my part, but other than an occasional cheating (and I do bolus for it), I follow my directions. Would love a reading in the 5's, but would even be satisfied with a 6 or 7. I have changed Dr.'s several times, so that wouldn't be the answer. Congrats to you though. You must feel great about it.
