I have recently become caregiver to my Mom who was diagnosed 3 months ago after a wild bout of HHNK that landed her in the hospital for a week.
Now she lives with me and my family full time, and is totally unable to care for herself. My 3 children (the ones still at home) help as much as they can with G-ma and my husband has been wonderful throughout all of this and willing to learn as much as he can too.
I certainly don't mind tho, and have come here to learn more about diabetes from the people who know...
I also have 8 dogs at the moment, 1 cat, 2 birds and 2 fish tanks, as if I am not busy enough!
It's a full household, full of love....
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
