A friend of mine heard about some device that you can wear on your wrist and it looks like a watch. By pushing a button it gives a signal to your pump and you get your insulin proportion. It sounds interesting so have anybody else heard about this?!!
Medtronic Minimed makes an optional remote for their pumps. It looks more like a remote that you would use to unlock your car than a watch. You can give a bolus or suspend the pump, but that's about it.
I don't know if this is what you're thinking of or not....

The remote is usually used for diabetics that can't manage the pump on their own, such as small children or people that are mentally retarded usually. It's a good tool for their caretakers.

It's also awesome for those times when you need to "hide" your pump- such as while wearing a dress. It also works great when I'm working outside wearing insulated bib overalls and jacket and don't feel like halfway undressing to get to my pump to suspend or bolus.
