hello everyone

my question is am an type 2 diabetic and has just been prescribed
lantus insulin,and also coreg has anyone experience any side effects with these meds???

be careful with the lantus...... read up on the *possible* side effects. I know it makes some people feel depressed. I used it for a while, and didn't experience it, but I am on a pump now with a different insulin.

Hi & Welcome to the forum. I have no experience with Lantus, but there are a lot of members who are using it and I'm sure will give you good advice.

Hi AlJr6 and welcome. I take a rather large dose of Lantus, 65/20 split dose for now. I don't think I have any side effects from it, other than needing to watch for lows. I also take Coreg to keep my heart working good. I don't seem to have a problem with it either. Why do you take it, I know some people who take it for blood pressure, but I have Avapro for that.

hello welp my boyfriend is on a 24 hour acting lantus, he gets it in 100 ml ... and it works pretty good because of how long it lasts i think that...novalog is good its more of a fast acting one...

hes a type 2 and tests three times and takes his once..... but he has alot of diabetic problems...
