ok i might be lighting a fire under some people who like this food im sorry in advance lol
I have a quiznos in my area now, i have never ate there. Ive went on the site to find nutrional values so i could make my decision, and i think my decision is this.... NEVER EAT THERE lol, but disappointed to find out they only had two sandwiches listed there, and even those are ridiculous in values to be a small sandwich etc...
i found a blog about people upset over no nutrional values listed, and for years they have tried to get info from them and keep getting some cockamimi story about new menu and them testing there values to make sure there accurate to some degree of that...
isnt it illegal not to release this info?

When I was out in Palmdale Ca. this last summer their sandwiches was I had for dinner each night. Not bad, there was one I liked and can not remember the name at the moment. As for having nutritional values listed it would be tough for them. Like most sandwich shops the sandwiches are made to order. The customer has several choices of ingrediants as well as type of bread to choose from. Combine that with the not exact amount of ingrediants added by different sandwich makers it would be a nightmare to make a nutritional list.

I love Quiznos and eat there once a month. I get the same sandwich every single time I go in, so I have the carb part down on that sandwich, lol.
As for not having nutritional info I believe it is. Buffalo Wild Wings and Rings does the same thing though (at least use to, haven't checked in a while.) I think the way BW3s gets around it is they say their menu is so customizable it's impossible to offer true nutritional value.
Oh, and anyone that says Subway is good, Quiznos is just as good. You can make the same sandwich at both 99% of the time.

while i know it would be hard to do a nutrional value becuase you get differnet stuff like at subway...
but even subway has a nutritional values for each individual item in there bar.... so you could basically add up all the single items at least to get something to go on
from what ive ready almost each one of there sandwiches (keep in mind this is you get exactly whats on the menu, no extras, or take away anything) there calorie counts are like 1000 for almost every sandwich..... which is more than half my day of calories.... which is what i want to avoid...
however i looked at there menu, and really dont think id like it anyway..... so ill probably stick with subway

I found some Quiznos info on Calorie King!

That 1000 calories happens to be more than half of mine as well. What I would do is get a half sandwich or order a whole and ask for it to be cut in half and wraped seperately. Do that at all of the sub shops. No way would I eat a whole one at one sitting.

Right, go to Calorie King, they info on the Honey Bourbon Chicken Sandwich. The thing about Quizno's is that they claim that they're "Wheat" bread has a certain amount of Sugar Alcohols which in some circles have minimal effect of blood sugar. I've been going to quiznos for this sandwich every other week, and it doesn't seem to bother me. (Except the time that i got sugared from the fake diet Mtn. Dew)
Quizno's claims (i'd link the info if i could, it's on a skimpy peice of paper that employees safeguard behind the counter) that the net carbs of the above Small size sandwich is 18.9. I'd say the actual carb would be around 30 something but of course Quizno's hides this info like it was some CIA document. If the wheat bread here has so much sugar alcohol i would venture to say that most subs w/ wheat bread would be a pretty good option.
;) Anywho, the sandwich doesn't bother my BGs much at all, so the glycymic info might be correct. I crunch it down w/ some baked lays to boot. Hells yeah. Livin it up.

Wow, you all must have a better Quiznos than the one I have across the street. The few times I've eaten there, the sandwich was a gloppy, wet mess, and no matter what sandwich I get, it always had this sweet white sauce on it. The last time I ordered from them, I asked for no sauce at all, and the sandwich was still sickly sweet. Tastes and colors, I suppose...

I've never tried Quiznos. In fact I'd never heard of them until now. I looked up there site & the nearest store to me is over 40 miles away. We've got Subway & Blimpys in this area.

I occasionally go to Quiznos, but usually opt for Subway. I find it hard to eat a sub without using Symlin to keep the bg down. The salads are very easy on my bg and at Subway you can customize your salad just like you can with the subs.

Cyborg, the salads at quiznos are reallllllllllly good too. I normally dose for about 15-20 carbs depending on which one, of course, that's throwing out the yuuuummmy flatbread.

I'm going to have Quiznos for lunch at work tomorrow. I think I'll get the juicy tradition, but instead of whatever sauce it comes with I switch it out to Batch 83 sauce. Regular tradional on white with batch 83, meats, cheese, and lettuce only. :D

I have tried at least one of their salads and it was delicious. :star:
