Due to the positive responses to the bracelet thread, I have decided to have an official Diabetesforums.com bracelet. The majority of the votes are for the glow in the dark with red imprint wrist band. However I can mix the order as long as I order more then 20 of the same color.

The price of the wrist bands are $ 5.00 each, shipping is including.

I would like to start with accepting reservations. The actual order will be placed at the end of the reservation period. Once the reservation period is over, reservation holders will be required to make payment with in 10 days. All orders will be ready for shipping to you in 10 to 12 days after the reservation has closed. PayPal or Money Orders will be the accepted payment methods.

To reserve your wrist bands, send an email to me (tony@diabetesforums.com) with your name and shipping address. You may ask any questions here, I will respond to all question as soon as I can.

The reservation period will run until February 16, 2007.

They are silicone wristbands with a debossed imprint. I am going with the best quality bands they make so you don't to worry about getting something cheap looking.

You all are welcome to pick another color if you don't care for the glow in the dark, like I said though we need 20 of each.

This can be up for discussion. What I was thinking is to have Diabetes and on the opposite side of diabetes on the out-side of the wristband to have diabetesforums.com in smaller font. I haven't confirmed if I can have diabetesforums.com in smaller font. I don't see why not.

I'm not sure how much shipping will be to other countries, I don't think it is much so that is why I have shipping included. I can double check tomorrow if an increase in price would be needed or not.

**blinks and smiles innocently** I know your just joking but, to clarify this. Diabetes will be printed at six o'clock and Diabetesforums.com in small print at twelve o'clock. This is the location on the wrist band, not the time they will be printed.

He just needs us to list how many bracelets we want & what color we'd like them in. He will then provide a total amount due after February 16th. Payments can be made via Paypal (I believe). If there's not enough of a color being ordered (i.e. one person wants to buy one brown bracelet, for example, but nobody else wants brown), I think he'll let us know. However, if we go in with others on a similar color, it will add up to the 20 needed to complete the order (i.e. need a 20 count of brown bracelets in order to be able to buy that color, etc.). I believe he said after Feb. 16th you can start paying thru either pay pal or Money Order...,.

I can't do paypal and I'm not sure what other way I could pay from here but I am keen to get one so I'll see if I can find a way!

IF there's a few of us, we could get together and make one order, one payment. That'd be cheaper... To get a money order is rather expensive, so doing just one bigger order makes more sense - we can split the fees between us. Unless we have a kiwi here with paypal who could accept our payments into their NZ bank account, then do the order?

I've been trying to find a way... I joined paypal but I can't put money into it without a US bank account or a credit card - I don't have either of those. Money order will cost me $26 on top of the $5... but I'm determined to find a way here! Will any other kiwis join me, and is there a kiwi with a usable paypal account who's willing to act as kiwi agent for the bracelets? (If it's not too late.. I haven't reserved a bracelet coz I didn't think I'd be able to pay for it)
