Hello All:
I have a question regarding Byetta. A friend at work has developed diabetes after being on steroids for 6-8 months for a lung problem. She was originally on insulin and Byetta, but since being weaned off the steroids, she is now only taking Byetta. She has been having difficulty with very dry eyes. Her ophthalmologist told her to use eye drops, but not Visine. Was wondering if anyone else on Byetta has had problems with this and what did you do for it? She states that her eyes are "glued shut" when she gets up in the mornings and the rest of the day feels as if they have sand in them. Thought i'd come to the experts. Thanks in advance for your help.
