:T Hi I am new to this forum. I am not used to having trouble keeping my sugar in check but here latly it has run amuck. My body only makes about half the insulin it needs and I am worried that it may be making less sine my normal dosage is not covering it at mealtime. I have not changed my eating habits any for this to happen. I also do not know the sliding scale for adjusting it because I did not need it before. I am on novalog pens and lantis for bedtime.

Any helpfull ideas - I don't see my endo until April. I have been adjusting it down by taking a few units at the time till I get it back down to where it should be. I don't want to take too much and then it be to low.

Welcome to the forums! You will find answers to many questions here. Perhaps you are type 1 really on a long honeymoon (dont honeymoons last longer in adults?)

Good luck!

Hey Tobar: :) I hope that you were able to get
your sugars under control by calling your Dr. for
the proper dosage, if you were unable to correct
it on your own. It is recommended to try another
vial(cartridge)of Insulin if you have, just in case
the one you are using is no good. Great avatar
btw. Welcome. :)
