First Diabetes Nightmare

I dreamt that my meter wasn't working right. It kept giving me readings like 5 and I knew I wasn't that low...surely I wouldn't be standing! Anyway, in my dream, I needed to contact my endo's office because they could fix the problem...but it was 4:00 on a Friday and they were closing for the weekend! It was a real panic dream...ever have something similar?

No, I have yet to dream about losing my meter...do have ones where I spike so high I wake up totally upset....

I have to admit I have had dreams where I lost my false teeth when I first got them, also had a dream where they broke into many pieces LOL

I have bizarre dreams every night, but haven't dreamt that one before. I think I'd change my battery, just to be on the safe side, lol.

I had my first diabetes dream a couple of nights ago and it was horrible. I was lying in bed and knew that I was low but was completley paralysed so couldn't treat it and was trying to think how i could wake my partner up to help me. It was really scary and when i woke up I still half believed that it really happened.

I often have a nightmare about being low right before I wake up low.

not about my meter. i've had some random ones about there being a world wide shortage of insulin...

i've also 'slept walked' and injected my self with insulin while alseep as i thought i was low. my mum caught me and had to sit feeding me glucose tablets...
