Morning and Night ......

Does anyone take an ace inhibitor morning and night, or is it just for once a day ? I am presently taking 10mg altace in the morning but running a little high. Maybe another 10mg at night would help ?

Hey Flash:
I take Accupril 20 mg at bedtime. How high are you running? I'd definitely check with my doc before self-adjusting, as you don't want to have a low blood pressure episode at an inopportune time, as it could be disastrous. Also, how long have you been on your medication? Sometimes it takes a few weeks to reach optimal results.

4 mg Coversyl after supper and BP runs low. All the time! It's a good thing I drink around 7-10 coffees a day because BP would be much lower. EeeK!

I've suffered from low BP while in a hot bath. Not a fun experience at all! I ended up in hospital...

Don't take more meds without your doctor's advice.

How are you taking you BP? I was told to be sitting for at least 15 minutes, to not cross my legs, relax... and not have anything to drink or eat for at least 15 minutes prior to taking my blood pressure. Readings can vary a lot if you don't. Apparently.

What are your numbers?
