I feel like this show is geared toward people either very newly diagnosed, or lacking in the gray mass area. Anyone else agree?
I feel like it is just getting into the story and it ends. It hits the surface, then deflects to like nothing.
And one person will say one thing, then another person will contradict it (example from today's: "2/3rds of diabetics die from heart or stroke" other guy: "Yes, 3/4s or diabetics die from heart disease" grrrrr). And the whole thing feels so staged.

Does anyone need a HUG...?

I watched the first 3 shows, got bored stiff,
never watched it again. By the sounds of it,
I haven't missed much. :)

I've DVRed every show but yet to watch most of them. I do get irritated with them as well. Many times they interview a famous person about their life. Personally, I don't give a **** about anyone famous and diabetes. I want to hear about average people that overcame problems or situations in everyday life. Not how joe blow played pro-NBA and was given 10 million to sponsor diabetes awareness.

This season seems to run clips from their older shows. I have watched many that I remember seeing last year or whenever. I am not as impressed with it as I was when it first hit TV, and I don't bust my *** to watch it any longer.

Yes to the first one, and the second one describes 99.99% of TV venue. Sometimes feel like I need a pain killer to watch TV.

I much prefer the internet, and to skip tv all together.

Although I haven't seen DLife in a bit, I still like the show a lot. I learned of frozen shoulder on DLife while my diabetic orthopedic specialist had no clue...

We should do our own webcast of our own diabetic show. I have the equipment for it.
Maybe vegas can be the first show as the kick off. Then have people submit video for new shows.

I would definitely watch that. Not DLife, though, it's too much like elevator music.

I hate to admit it, but I did (do?) joined their online group when i first was searching for support. I noticed there is not much activity at times and I have learned more being here than there. So I very seldom visit the other site now, and when I do, I notice the same posts are there.

I am starting a new web show called DiaLife on Diabuddies. It will be filmed in HD.

Brian, you are definitely on to something there. I think that'd be really interesting and way cool. Nothing better than meeting with & talking to fellow folks who have it and can be candid on it.

For the kick off of Dialife - to hopefully be hosted on diabuddies (need to talk to boss man on here) lets try to have each person going to vegas give 5-10 min on a diabetic subject.
After the kick off episode we can do it with webcams from other members and hopefully guests. This may be my chance to get to talk to Bernstein and Faustman it it goes well.

I'm still new to knowing I have diabetes and my husband and I watch dLife (DVR it). However, in just the few weeks I have been watching it, I swear, I think they just keep repeating their information and there is one correspondent in particular that I find real irritating. But what do I know? :) At this point, honestly, the diabetes related product commercials that air during the program are fascinating to me!

I'll operate the camera. Or maybe Dewey can read my script. Jedi doesn't do on air talent. LOL

I went to 4 years of college for video production and never once stood in front besides for a bump shot operating a camera. NEVER did I talk in front of a camera.
