Want to switch to pump before college, but...

I plan on going to the pump ASAP before college so I can get used to it. I plan on swimming in college though, does anyone do any sports in college and pump? Whats it like, whats hard about it ect... Thanks!

Just making sure you protect it. I use to play broomball in college and went down on the ice alot. I'd sometimes land on my pump and luckily it never got damaged. That of course was the rock solid Animas IR 1000 that I think you could drop off the sears tower and it wouldn't break. I'm not sure about modern pumps taking that kind of beating since they use a cheaper plastic now. There are protective cases for pumps if you search that manufacturer depending on what sports you play.

Just get a waterproof pump, and you should be fine.

Trust me, you really don't want to do college on injections.
