Heya, well Ive only been diabetic for about 8 months or so now(or known about it for that long anyways), and ive found not many low-to-zero carb products out there, as far as 0 carb goes I only know of two, was hoping we could start up an ongoing list here to share with eachother what weve found, helping eachother out in this way =)

Well I found out that sugar free jello is 0 Carb, 0 Fat, and 10 Calories per 1/2 cup. It is always a nice little desert, then get some of that cool-whip, the one with lower carbs(I forget which one it is) to top it off.

Ah, and a new alternative to popcorn for me, Pork Rinds. Yea, their kinda nasty, but somewhat satisfying with their crunch and come in a few flavors, so theres at least variety. The latest one ive tried is a microwavable type I found at walgreens, 0 Carbs, 1.5g Fat, 60 calories for every 1/2 oz, oh and 450mg of sodium per 1/2 oz there too, a bit high on sodium but so is popcorn =)

Well thats all ive really found as of late, wish to hear from others with their low-to-zero carb snacks =)

Thanks,
Lurius

If it's got 0 carbs it's either boring or Dangerous to over-indulge.

Jello Instant Pudding is my favorite Low carb food-----------filling yet safe to have "Enough"

You probably already knew, but, be careful of Anything Atkins because they Count Carbs differently

I just look at the total carbohydrates on the packaging, its the same as we would count it isnt it?

Atkin's doesn't count glycerine and sugar alcohols. For us, we really only get to deduct 5 gms or more of fiber from the serving size total carbs.
