First A1c since the pump..........

I went to the endo today for my final pump check. I started pumping 5 weeks ago. They did an A1c, and it was 6.4. I am just thrilled. I've never had one that low before. I know I still have a ways to go, but I just had to tell you guys. The endo seemed genuinely pleased with my progress, and did a little bit more tweaking, since I seem to still go low in the afternoons. It just did my heart good. You know, when you want something so badly, and have to fight to get it, and then get it, and it actually is as wonderful as you had hoped for, that feeling? lol. She said I was the poster child for the pump, and I must say I couldn't have been more proud. I just had to share this with you all because you have been my best support system through this whole thing. Thanks so much for all your help!
