I have noticed that with warmer weather I have had alot of lows, not just being outside, yard work kind of lows.....but if I sit in the sun and read a book, or just watch the kids play, I will need alot less Novolog. Is that something to do with the metabolizing at higher temperatures? To brag a bit about our weather, it has been in the high 80's all weekend. :)

I understand that higher temperatures lead to higher body temperatures, which leads to better blood flow to the skin to cool the body down, which increases insulin absorption, which leads to lows.

I used to use the jacuzzi quite bit, and this used to have this effect.

I would guess that there are also changes in the body's metabolism that also influence the utilisation of glucose.
