I've been thinking about "pimping my meter", but I'm just not sure how to go about this. I don't tend to use a case, but instead just stick it in a small compartment in my bag so it needs to be somewhat durable. Also I have little to no artistic ability.

Any ideas? Meters are so boring.

Did you just get the Ultra Smart meter? I know you were cruising for a new one, so I had to ask. I just got my free Ultra Smart the other day, and am still impressed just by switching it on... so cool! Animation! Blue light! Can't wait until I figure out all it's functions... should I live so long! :)

Anyway, not a tip on pimping it out, but I am thinking of wearing headphones with it, and convincing my coworkers that it's also an MP3 player! Well, it looks like one, anyway... :D

There's not much room on it for decoration, but if I were inclined, I'd crazy glue a bunch of rhinestones around it. If Paris Hilton had one, that's what hers would look like, anyway...

Or, paint a skull on the back. I'm just saying, is all! Whatever you end up doing, post a pic so we can ooh and ahh!

There are software packages available , that lets you make skins to change how the meter looks. They have them for alot of different meters.

Not sure if I can post the link
Software Packs: Diabetic Supplies FIFTY50 Diabetes Supply Pharmacy (http://www.fifty50pharmacy.com/index.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=skindesignersoftware)

Thanks for the link--those are awesome! I want one! Except I don't use a meter anymore since it's built into my OmniPod PDM. Maybe someday they'll make them for the OmniPod...

IMO, the UltraSmart is the best meter on the market for storing every kind of data imaginable. And it's very accurate...

How about a Glue Gun and a visit to a Craft store?

You'll get lots of ideas there-------I know, I have to yake my wife to Michaels and Hobby Lobby a LOT.
