Do you all keep track of everything in your log books?

When I first started pumping, I was anal about keeping track of how much I bolused for, and how much a correction was and all that. Now that it's been a few months, all I keep track of is my blood sugars. How about you all?

Lately, I've been a tad lazy about it all...I think that will be changing very soon though, as I intend on getting a cgms & can input data into it to download & graph. I love that kind of stuff, and look forward to getting back into logging better. :nerd:

I do. All the charts and graphs in the meters may be fine to look at but when I need to know something specific fast all I have to do is pick up my log book and it's right in front of me.

I log EVERYTHING! I have a daily appointment book that measures 5" x 8". I log the time and what my BS reading is, any food, the # of units I took to cover it, any exercise, whether I'm feeling under the weather, etc.

I've done this for 4 years and it works for me. I can open the log book and see exactly what food(s) I ate to cause that high spike or that low and try to avoid it the next time I eat the same food.

Hey pump buddy. :) I log everything onto a spreadsheet. That way I can do what I want with the data.

This is what I'm using at the moment. I left my data for today and yesterday so you could see how I use it. If you want to use it, obviously just delete my info.

when i was doing MDI, i logged EVERYTHING. since i got my omnipod, i am super lazy since it records it all for me (except what it is that I ate).

I got a new cell phone recently, so I got a smart phone so I could record what I eat. Haven't done much recording, but what I do like about it is using voice notes to record when i am successful with a bolus or to remind myself what I have tried. Like if I eat pizza, and I try x carbs extended of x hours with x % up front, etc...
