Today... 6.8 :D

oh yes i love it! :T

I was out of control for so long due to horrible doctors keeping me on metformin/actos instead of putting me on insulin...

Finally found a good endo :D

Only bad thing about the insulin is that I gain weight MUCH easier now :mad:

Hey man, i totally understand the weight gain thing! Ive managed to get my a1c down to 7.9 in the last three months from 9.. The reason? NEW INSULIN and better eating!!!! And now I weigh 5 kilos more!

Congratulations on your improved blood sugars. Sorry about the weight problem. So many things can cause that. It is a constant problem to most of it. But you probably feel so much better with the improved BG's you will have the ability to keep down the weight too.:D

How much weight did you lose prior to being diagnosed? I lost 15lbs and gained it back only when I began pumping.

And, do you get low often?

i dropped from 203lbs to about 165lbs...

only after i started the humalog did i gain it back...although i would have preferred to stop at about 190 :mad: lol
