this chocolate bar has 28 g of carbs, and 18 g of fat. do i bolus 46 with a dual wave for it?

Definitely no. Fat doesn't work that way. You don't count the grams in fat at all. What you look at is the percent of fat. With chocolate though you have to remember that it has sugar, so it can react faster than a normal carb. Then at the same time it's chocolate so it works longer. You just need to figure out with trial and error what works for you in terms of percent.

so if it has like 30% fat i add 6 g?

If you want to bolus for fat, which I never do, I'd suggest only taking 10% of the fat content and doing that with an exended bolus.

I don't bolus to cover the fat content. I only bolus to cover the total carbohydrate count.

Carb content determines quantity, but fat affects duration of bolus. And in a lot of cases, protein affects both.
