I just bought a cheap CVS blood glucose meter. How accurate will its results be? The testing solution range was 51-88 and a 68 was read by the meter, so does that mean that it will be very accurate, or will it always be up to 10% off like I've read?

Assume it's always a bit off.

If you add 51 and 88 and devide the sum by two, you get 69.5 which should be the actual value of the test solution as read by that batch of strips.

You read 68, which is as close as you are likely to get, and well within limits.

Cheers!
