I am getting mini med 522 clear one, I like the feature where it shuts down if the pump starts to malfunction...kind of a piece of mind for me.....but I got ways of getting another one as a back up lol......

I have had the 522 now for over 5 months and it has performed very well. Never had a problem with it. Good luck with it.

Congratulations Cheryl. I am using the 715 and love it! (I also opted for clear) Very hi-tech looking. I am sure you will love your pump. I have never had a problem with mine either.

I started on saline and after a day gave up and moved over to insulin. I didn't see the point after a day of it!

Great news, cheryl, I know you wanted one so bady! You'll see what a huge freedom tool the pump can be :)

(I am on a break from the pump, but as I keep posting, I know it's a good thing for most people).

Oh yea June, I am really excited, I think I could of gotten it down eventually with the mdi's but I feel my life had to be planned out the day before.......no matter though, no matter what I choose it is gonna take work.....I don't blame ya for takin a vacation, I probably will to from time to time, knowing me I will lol:D

You're more patient than I would be. Every time I get a package I track it from origin to my house. Then run after the truck down the street. You'll have to put up pictures of you modeling it for us. (I hope that didn't sound creepy...)

Ok, I got my pump, took out a set and did it myself. No i didn't do any insulin but I wanted to see if I can insert my quick set and like fill a resevoir, well I can do a quick-set, but it burned a tad bit for a few minutes but it went away.....I know I know I am totally impatient, I havent tried hooking the resevoir to the pump and all the priming I will wait till tomorrow, but I used my lantus to fill a resevoir since I just well wanted to play, lol, that was tricky those freakin air bubbles and what not, but the set was so easy.....no big deal, I don't see why anyone would have a problem or well I guess oh yea, I had a bleeder too I bled just a tad bit......not bad I started to laugh, I am so goofy, well I set my rates, I am on 15 units of Lantus so 80% is .5units an hour and did my times and all that and set my carb ratio's and bolus wizard and max units of this and that I am just playing, Don't worry I have not hooked up at all just was playing around cause I am totally impatient can't wait for the saline tomorrow and then I can bolus and basal the **** out of myself yay.....
