A year give or take. There are days when I think it's over, and then on others, my pancreas steps up and plays ball. I kinda wish it would just end so i can have some predicability.

A year, but I didn't know it at the time... and to be honest I'm not entirely sure! Some say I must still be having it because I'm on so little insulin. I disagree but may be proven wrong if my needs change strangely some day!

Three years now, still going. Initially diet/exercise only, recently started on Lantus, 6u/day.

One week on a cruise....:D

Seriously, I think I'm still honeymooning as my body produces insulin before anticipated meals (noon and dinner). Honeymoon is the only answer. So, that's going on 6 months now. It's not severe, but annoying.

I was diagnosed when I went to the ER with severe ketoacidosis. Does that count as a negative honeymoon?

I think I am still honeymooning. I was diagnosed 8 months ago... They say it can last a few years even...

It's been more than 3 months since my dx and I'm still honeymooning. Sometimes my pancreas and I sleep in and read the paper together.
