I like how you logged all your readings, pretty neat. I can't believe how good your glucose levels were ! I'd like to know how you made a log, can I make one using the mm 722 ?

I made the log in excel. You have to manually type stuff in. If you pm me your email address, I'll send you a blank copy.

The blank version of the log I use can be found here:
Google Base: Meal based log w/averages (http://base.google.com/base/a/1232483/D14363455567099450926)
If you don't have Excel, you can download open office for free and use is with that.
OpenOffice.org: Home (http://www.openoffice.org)
Another option is using Google Docs to open it:
http://docs.google.com/

Here is a copy of my worksheet I print it out on both sides of the paper, fold it and carry it with me in my case. It is an Excel program but I do write it out by hand. I used to type it but got lazy. My endo accepts it this way. Anyone feel free to save it and use it if you can. If you want the Excel program send me a pm with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Here is the kind of report you get from Blood Glucose History from the cosmanager software. I don't like the reverse order thing....
I'm not there yet with basal adjustments, but I am getting close.

I had a chart like that but stopped using it because I wanted to be able to get pre-/post- meal averages. This chart allows me to do that, and have more than one reading per time slot.

Thank you Funnygrl.
My doctor was sure I was a good candidate for a pump because I didn't have big fluctuations except for DP, (and the pump has removed that beyond my wildest expectations), and because I am an obsessed geek who would also work hard at it.
When I screw up on a bolus with a bad estimate (usually eating out) and I'm in the 130's a couple of hours later I get pissed at myself and try to do better.
I sure hope my A1c in June reflects the bg readings.

I want more than just reads. It helps me to record how many carbs I eat, my corrections, etc. If I need more BG's for any reason, I write them in. I only take my BG 2 hours after I eat so the chart works for me.

Yeah, that's good. I write my boluses down at the bottom, use my pump to keep track of carbs, and what percentage is basal/bolus/correction, etc.

The pump keeps track of all that stuff for us, maybe the co-pilot software will dig it out and let us graph it when the new software becomes available.

First of all, excel is part of Microsoft office suite. Second of all, the installer for Microsoft office 2003 is around 700 megabytes. Third, it is illegal to redistribute Office which costs up to $300 for a legal single user copy.

I wasn't offering the entire Excel program. I realize that is illegal. What I was offering was the Insulin Flow Chart. I'm sorry if it confused anyone. I won't offer anything else that might be confused with an illegal activity.

However, if you do need Excel, you can't download Excel, but you can get OpenOffice.org for free, which will read and write Excel files. It's the actual program I used when making this chart.
