lispro and nph? anyone do this?

Anyone do the humulin nph u-100 and the humalog lispro? and do you mix them?

I don't do this, but I do know that those 2 insulins can be mixed. I also know it's probably not your best shot (pun intended) at good control.

I was on Humalog and NPH for about eight years, and they can be mixed. I used H/NPH at breakfast, H at dinner, and NPH at bedtime when I was on that regimen.

Lantus or Levemir are much better insulins than NPH, unless you're using NPH for a specific reason.

yes,I was thinking of going on the lantus. But what is not good about nph,do you think?
