Hi everyone,:) I'm new on here and I am hoping you can help me with something. My daughter is on a insulin pump and is planning a trip to a country with high humidity and 95-102 degrees temp. Have any of you experienced this and if so does it cause any problems with the pump? I am not going with her and am worried sick!

I think most people do not experience problems, but just in case she may want to take along a Frio.

Thanks for the info. I didn't even know a Frio existed! I looked it up and that would be a good idea.

Just to be on the safe side, I would advise your daughter to try to keep her pump (safe in its Frio) on the shady side of her body.

Some people on this list feel that it doesn't make a difference, but I have had problems with the pump being in direct sun while camping in the desert. Also remind her to wind any extra tubing she can into a coil and put that in with the pump.

I find these precautions help when the temp is in the 90s or higher. Frios are great!
