Need Help!

i have the minimed pump522. the one with wireless bd counter. my son has been come planeing of stomach aches for a while. so i checked his sugar twice with it and it read e-3. i checked mine and it read 82 so i think it is still working. anyone have a idea what e-3 means. i cant find my book on this meter.

E-3 means...."Incorrect application of blood sample or control solution onto the test strip. Test strip may be damaged."

it is wierd. never had one of those. i need to put my manual somewhere i wont lose it. hehe. that makes me feel better. i was thinking to high to register.
