Take me out to the ballgame...

Is this the forum where we can pump our e-fists in the air and share our happiness over good A1c's? and people will know why we're doing it?

Just got my results today: 5.5. My first A1c was 12.0.

... and baseball starts this weekend! Woo-hoo! :D

Nice!!

I was pretty jacked up when I went from a 10 to 5.5, but you beat me by a couple of points! Way to go.

This is the place and YES, we get it.

Great Job!

Your chances of diabetes complications are about 94% less than when you started! Miniscule now.

Thanks everyone. It's such a great help to read and post on this forum. It's almost a daily stop for me now.

Pote05, we'll have to talk about your allegiances.
Go Cubs!

Hmmm Chewy, your A1c is not the problem, but you may need help with your DF addiction! :pcguru:

GREAT news :) :D and all the smiles we can muster here

(hate to damper any spirit but.....my doctor says 6.0 is a normal number-there's someone else on this board that says they got a 4.4 due to too many lows-I'd also question that number but doing MANY checks at different times to see if you are having too many LBS's that would reflect an incorrect A1C)

I really am not a party pooper:o

According to my reference range on my A1C lab results sheet, the A1C normal range is 4.0 - 6.0. I would LOVE a 4. something A1C...usually, I don't particularly care if i'm normal or not, but A1C wise....yep, I want normal. Good job Chewy!
