Hello everyone....

I just came to know abt my A1C result today and it was 5.9

This is my first A1C after being dx'ed (Jan 1 2007).

I appreciate all of your help in answering my novice questions and raising my confidence.....

I still remember how depressed I was initially and the fact that I can control my BG gives me little confidence right now.

I really learnt a lot from this site..... and glad that I came to know abt it very soon.

I know this is a never ending war on keeping the control, but with the support of awesome friends here I think I will see much better results next time (at least I hope to)

Thankyou all....

Your results are superb, congratulations !

Hopefully you can keep your results consistent, so your post-meal BG recovers into a good range, and without having any low BG episodes.

For a new member of the D Club, you're doing well, so be proud !

Thank You All,

I feel great by all the encouragement I am recieveing from the lovely members of this forum.

I think I feel little high now:trytofly: ... just kidding.

Yes, it was lot of hard work and I changed by view abt eating.
More contorl now... I eat to live now thats it (That does'nt mean I am startving, but I am in great control of my appetite)

Doing excercise regularly ,always taking little extra insulin to keep in Lower numbers (Not esentially LOW), Testing often.

And I like fighting.... fighting the big D.

:fight: :fight:

Since I was newly D'xed I was kind of paranoid with the effects of higher BG, that was the main reason...
Reading a lot abt good control.

I am still using syringes and I am still waiting to see my first ENDO (End of April)

Getting pump approved for myself is the next step for me.

The biggest reason , I would say is the knowledge I found on this site.

Kudos to all the members here, U have been a huge difference maker in inducing positive attitude.

I thank you all from bottom of my heart.

you guys ROCK!
