i've heard there's a better lancing device, than the mean ones that come with meters..
(better as in less painful)
any info?
i also remember years ago therre was one with a bit of a suction action on it to help get the sample. are these still around?

there is a product out there that uses a laser. it's stated as painless, but i never knew anyone that had one. There was one I saw in a doctors office in NY years ago, but again, he did not push it. Saying it was expensive, insurance would not pay for it, and that there is no advantage over a lance.

I really like my one-touch ultra soft pen....i'm a wuss, but this doesn't bother me very much...it has several depth settings as well.

I really am enjoying the multiclix, i got it when my grandmother passed away and my grandfather gave me her aviva, and all, so i really enjoy this multiclix.......i think i am gonna stick with it....

One Touch Ultra Soft with the Ultra Soft lancets. Comes with the One Touch Ultr line of meters.

Vaculane. Bayer made it. It sucked royally. You don't really need suction with the newer meters cause they only take .3-1 ul. They invented it back in the olden days when meters took 4 ul. And they even stopped making it. Any lancing device will accept an ast cap now.
