Ok this is a funny one but if you could drink insulin what flavour would you want it to be?

Drinkable insulin eh? My flavor would have to be an alcoholic drink flavored insulin, like rye & coke, or beer (canadian beer eh!). Margarita would be really good too!

Wow, what a silly thread! But I feel very silly today myself... If 1 unit equals at least 10ml, then there would be some point to the flavor, and I vote for strawberry - great smell too if the quantity remains as small as it really is.

There has to be something that can cover insulin to get it passed gastric acid (this is where insulin is denatured in the stomach and becomes useless) and into the the duodunum(sp, I ve been partying, the part of the 'pipe' that is right after the stomach) where it belongs. This would be getting the insulin closer to where it originates in the human body and would be magnificaent.

Anyways sorry to ramble! Just make mine taste like sugar and kill 2 birds with one stone :).
