My endo says not to bother taking this vitamin since there is no clinical value with Diabetes. I'd like to know who has discovered any difference in their BS's before and afters. If you have noticed better numbers, how much do you take?
Did a nutritionist help out with this too?

Some people swear by it, and some swear at it. I've never tried it, but I did hear that cinnamon capsules help control blood sugar.

On the recommendation of my endo, I tried it. It did nothing for my bs.

I read some studies back in the mid 90s. They all found no correlation between its use and better control. But, I've also read many anecdotal reports where people swear it helped. I tend to believe the studies as long as I know who paid for them and found them to be neutral.

I seem to recall Chromium was suggested for Type 2, not Type 1. Most supplements are only relevant for Type 2s.
