Not as good an A1C as I hoped but better than it could be, I am happy with my lipids though, I'm working towards dropping my dosages and hopefully getting off meds as much as possible down the road. I'm up to 1.5 hours of exercise daily and under 100g of carbs daily.
Without further ado, 6 weeks after diagnosis and starting on 30mg Actos and 10/40 Vytorin daily.

22 March 2007
Fasting Glucose: 258
A1C: 8.9
Triglycerides: 261
Total Cholesterol: 260
LDL: 174
HDL: 34

1 May 2007
FBG: 126
A1C: 6.9
Triglycerides: 106
Total Choles: 125
LDL: 63!!:)
HDL: 41

Judging by my current meter average of 115 I'm guessing my next A1C should come in right around 6, which will make me much happier, I still have 6 weeks of totally uncontrolled BG measured on this current test.

A HUGE thanks to everyone here for all the information and support over the past 6 weeks! I couldn't have done it without you!!
