I spent the day shopping for clothes - impossible to find ones that fit. The extra large size seems to be made for extra small Taiwanese midgets. They even have xxxsmall - can you picture that body?

Before shopping, I had a starter salad with chicken (in a restaurant) and a large G&T to relax me :) OK so far.

With help from a friend I eventually found some decent clothes that camouflage the spare tire that is always so evident on a 5 ft frame. My friend is a 5'8 size 2, and can buy her wardrobe in Walmart and still look like a million bucks, But even she sometimes takes extra large.

Exhausted, and 5.1 (low for me), I stopped on the way home and bought a Cadbury's Thin (100 calories, 12 gms carbs)

Had a chicken sandwich and cauliflower for dinner and an orange.

An hour later I started snacking. First peanuts...then a cookie...then 1 cup noodles... then another cookie...couldn't stop. I bolused 4 units.

Was going to ignore Fitday, but too obsessed to do so I entered my day's foods. It came to 1500 calories, 113 gms Carbs, 75 gms fat and 73 gms protein.

250 calories over my norm, twice the amount of carbs, but not as bad as I thought. Will be doubling my exercise tomorrow. But was mad at myself, as I managed to get through two parties last week without being "bad".

Just tested and am pleased that thanks to NovoRapid I am 7.3 (2 hours post-prandial). Strange, as last night, after a "good" eating day, I was 12.1 Go figure. Sometimes I think I will never get the hang of this disease.

Thanks for providing me with a safe haven in which to vent. It helps to get me back on track.

There's never any reason, that I can see, to beat yourself up over one "off-day" especially with all the exercise you obviously got from your day at the shops.
When you put your eating into fitday, did you also enter all the walking and shopping? It is amazing how many calories you can burn on a day out shopping.
By the way, did you buy something nice?

Heather.
