If you ate crab legs, you weren't fasting.

I only ate the crab legs (dipped in vinegar) about 1 and half leg.

Any food will raise your blood sugar somewhat. All foods turn to sugar even protein. Crab legs should not change your blood sugar drastically.

Crab legs shouldn't do anything to your BG. Now, carb legs, that's another story...

WTH did you find crabs in Alberta?

The crab legs themselves will do very little to your BGs, though protein will raise BGs.

Some of us get an immediate BG rise just from eating, regardless of what we eat. Usually this is preceeded by several hours of fasting.

I eat crab and crab legs a lot during the summer months. I never had it change my BS numbers due to eating the crab. I will actually go lower on most occasions. I feel it is due to the work to get the meat out of the crab. :D
