Medco sent me 100 of these strips by mistake, they will not take them back or exchange them for my Accu-Chek Compacts
So my $50 copay loss is someone else's gain, I hope somebody here uses these, PM me if you do
Cheers, Mike

I never heard of an "Accu-chek Instant" strip. What kind of meter do they go with?
Regarding your $50 copay, don't put up for it. They dispensed the wrong "medication," and must make things right. Call back and be the squeaky wheel.
I had major problems with Medco and insulin shipments. They treated me poorly, too -- after many misdirected shipments of insulin (including an attempt of theirs to get me to accept "spoiled" insulin by re-routing a package that had been sitting in the USPS warehouse for a week), the customer service person had the nerve to tell me to "live without my insulin for a weekend" (as a type 1, that's impossible).
Finally "corrected" the situation by getting an apology call from one of their vice-executives at 11 PM at night, after fighting with the issue for nearly 8 hours on the phone, when they finally realized their mistake...

Thanks for the reply, These fit the accu-chek Instant, Instant Plus, and Instant DM. I don't think they make any of them anymore, they charged me $50 for strips for meters that are no longer made.
Unfortunately my Dr. specified these, her receptionist must have misunderstood me. I had sent them 3 different test strip perscriptions, they wouldn't fill any of them for variouos reason, wrong amount, too general, etc so I had my Dr fax another one in.
I'm leaving the country for work next week and I needed a 3 month supply of everything.
I have spoken to 3 different people at MEDCO, and none of them would do anything about this. Just more motivation to try and make a go of it on diet and exercise alone, my insurance isn't paying for ****. I switched from BCBS which I was paying $500 a month for, onto my wifes United Healthcare, which basically doesn't pay for any of my expenses.
