Now, the above are all individual events. One thing that I have found that is pretty cool is the Las Vegas Power Pass (http://shop.vegas.com/shows/showtimes2.jsp?show=948&lang=en?cm_re=default-_-Slot%201%20Minibanner-_-Power%20Pass)

It gets you into 19 different events/attractions/rides for one low price. Some are on the strip and some are off the strip, so that may be a factor in deciding if it's worth it. Listed after each activity is the price of that individual attraction. The total price of all is around $263.37 (more since I don't know the Jillians Bowling price.) The breakdown is then dependant on how many days of each you want to buy. For an adult it comes to....

One Day - $70
Two Days - $95
Three Days - $120
Five Days - $165

The way the Power Pass works is you are allowed into each event one time that day. So if you buy the three day pass, technically, you can go up the Stratosphere three times. However, it's pointless to buy three days if you only want to visit each one once and you can do it all in two days.

Star Trek: The Experience (one turn on each ride) at the Las Vegas Hilton - $42.99
Madame Tussaud's Interactive Wax Attraction at the Venetian - $24.00
Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage - $15.00
Adventuredome Theme Park at Circus Circus (all day) - $22.95
Stratosphere Tower (tower only) - $9.95
The Roller Coaster at New York-New York - $12.50
King Tut Museum at Luxor - $9.99
In Search of the Obelisk Ride at Luxor - $9.99
Mini Hoover Dam Tour - $11.00
Guggenheim Hermitage Museum at the Venetian - $19.50
Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art - $17.00
Atomic Testing Museum - $12.00
Liberace Museum - $12.50
Nevada State Museum - $4.00
Las Vegas Art Museum - $6.00
Las Vegas Natural History Museum - $7.00
Bonnie Springs Old Nevada - $20.00
Las Vegas Zoo - $7.00
Jillian's Las Vegas at Neonopolis (includes one game of bowling and shoe rental. Call ahead for lane reservation.) - ???

I myself am planning on getting a two day event one and then seeing what I can all do in two days (most likely for June 26 and 27.) That will keep me away from gambling too much.

I can't join you guys for any big shows or anything like that, but I'm totally up for a meal (brunch/lunch/dinner) or drinks or something, some kind of event that we can wander around but still chat, anytime during that Monday (25th) or morning/lunchtime on Tuesday. My Sunday night is booked for my family and we head out Tues afternoon.

Here is what I have planned:
Fri - get in, dinner at pf changs, blue man group
sat- Driving out to the grand canyon, Seeing Mamma mia that night.
Sun - Day of rest; no matter where I am at. Carwy, Dew, come hang at my place there if you want; especially if you get there before your hotel checkin. Dinner with Kev, Dew and Carwy that night. Jen - maybe you can do a drink with us that night?
Mon- golf with kev from 8:30 to about 12:30 (depending on play) Then how about we all loop the strip? While we do that I would like to ride the rollar coaster at new york new york :), and maybe we can stop for an iced tea or a shot of sauza along the way. How about dinner at the playboy club that night? Dinner at the bunny club is on me :) . Music, fake poker, and fun in my suite that night.

Tues - How about a hoover **** day trip? then lounging by the pool after? Then I am going to the mandalay bay to visit the shark reef.

Wed - I am leaving at around 1:30; Brunch?

I am negotiable on everything except the mandalay fish tank since I already paid for it. I don't mind going by myself though, so feel free to schedule that time wo me.

What do you think?

Sorry, no can do drinkies Sun night, it's the fam night. Haven't seen them in a year and that will be the first day I see them! Actually, most of my time in Vegas will be spent with them, but I could steal away for a couple hours for the Monday night thing - dinner or stop by later for fake poker and drinks.

I'll be getting in around 3 PM. I can definitely have dinner and drinks. :)

Looping the strip is good with me. :) Remind me to bring a very large water bottle! The roller coaster sounds good to me too, though I don't know if I'll fit anymore...

In my younger and skinnier days I probably would have been up for the Playboy Club, but not so much anymore...besides the $30 cover charge would take a chunk out of my outlet shopping!

I'll definitely hang out with you in your suite though. :)

Tues - How about a hoover **** day trip? then lounging by the pool after? Then I am going to the mandalay bay to visit the shark reef.

Whose pool? I think there's a pool at everyone's hotels... I might be up for the shark reef too. :)

Wed - I am leaving at around 1:30; Brunch?

Brunch is good too! See ya there.

30$ just to get in? I thought there was like a restaraunt and stuff. ****. How about the cheesecake factory gang? Not as 'Vegas', but can count on a good meal.

Yes, the club is really a night club plus a "high roller" casino. So, there is a cover and the menu I saw didn't really look dinner-esque, more appetizers.

Cheesecake Factory works for me... I'm up to eating anything as long as it's not spicy, fishy, shellfishy, mushroomy, avacado-y, or eggplant-y (I'm allergic to all of those things...). Okay, I'm not allergic to spicy, but my palate would argue that!

Oh, Kev, where is this list of everyone's contact info you spoke of? Will I get that later? Thanks!

Hope everyone has a great time--sounds like you will. Las Vegas is definitely on a to due list, but so are a lot of things I don't know when I will ever get to. Sounds expensive though, I tend to be sort of cheap unless I am taking my granddaughter to Barney or Dora or something!! Add in the gambling and I better save up it looks like. I did not realize the shows were quite that much. Anyway, have a great time!!!

Just so everyone knows, I did buy the Las Vegas Powerpass that I mentioned in my above post (#2.) I bought the two day version so it expired at Midnight on the second day of use. I'm hoping to either use it either Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. I'm not sure which will work better with other plans yet but I'm hoping to hit everything on the Powerpass even if I do it alone.

I don't know if any of you are into Geocaching, but there are quite a few caches in and around the strip... I'll be bringing my GPSr because I have a few travel bugs to set free, and I thought that Vegas would be a great place to let them go.

So, if anyone wants to cache with me, let's set up a time!

It might be easier to drop it off along the way... Looking at the caches on the strip, most of them are micros, virtual, or puzzle virtual. There are a couple that are marked incorrectly as medium containers, but in the description it says they are altoid tins... I'm going to try for one that's in a local park to release one of the TBs I have. :)

I'd Love to do the Hoover Dam trip on Tuesday, as well as some of the other activities....I'm on a limited income, so can't do any of the more expensive shows, but would have loved to have seen Celine.

I'm up for the M&M thing, hehe, the shark reef and a few others, as well as a couple of rides....and last, but not least, I'm Always up for swimming! :D

I also had a suggestion, if anyone's interested: Roller skating, anyone? If so, let me know, and I can either call you or PM the hours, prices & name of the rink.

I bought the 2 day version which means it expires on Midnight of the 2nd night of use. I want to try and do as many of the items on it as possible (if not everything :D) I can start using it Tuesday if people want to go to a few of the items on it as we walk the strip or something. If we walk past something and others don't want in on it (because of price), then they can just walk around the hotel or something while I go check it out for a bit.

Otherwise I'll just activate it on Wednesday for Wednesday and Thursday for me.

I am in Vegas and it is AWESOME!! My father met me (great guy to be hanging with in Vegas, no doubt) out here and leaves tomorrow morning. We were out from 7am- 11am an omg. It is effin hot here. All that heat though, is nothing compared to the awe and good time of Vegas :). Look forward to seeing you guys :).

A while back (year or so) there used to be a guy in the Adventuredome at the Circus Circus, who painted fantastic pictures with spray paint right from the spray can. Check him out. The paintings are unreal, especially when you realize they were painted with a spray can!
