Hi Mars. I'm sorry you are having so many problems, I wish there was more we could do to help. You have a great little girl there helping you though, we should all have one just like her. Take care of yourself, and get well!

Hey Mars.... I am so sorry this is happening to you. I know you must be scared right now. Please know that we are all hoping and praying that it all works itself out for you and that your doctors come up with an answer. I wish I had words of wisdom, but I don't.
You are in my prayers my friend.

Glad you're here. :wavey:
The only practical advice I can give is to try and focus on doing things that do not require your sight so much. I am just suggesting that to take your mind off, I know it's not a solution...
For example, learn to play an instrument (if you don't already play). I am also getting ready to pick up my guitar again as my sight deteriorated recently. You can learn basic chords from audio courses. But be prepared for some pain on your testing-weary fingertips! ;)

We do miss you dearly and it's upsetting that your eyes are not improving. Keep in mind that you do not have to have your eyesight to live a happy, fun life. I go in for trigger point therapy on my frozen shoulder and the LMT is completely blind. She told me the other day that she went roller skating with her kids! Be strong and continue to be that good role model for your daughter. Best wishes. :flowers:

I think I'm also one of those people with glucose sensitive eyes. When my A1c was in the low 6's I had some bleeds that caused dark splotches in my vision, and constant floaters were a way of life. I also had frozen shoulder. It wasn't until I not only got my A1c's down to the low 5's, but also stabilized the swings, that I was able to reverse those complications to the point where my retina scans look completely normal. Once that happened, I went for something like a year without a single floater, and then I had a bout of extreme insulin resistance which caused my blood sugars to rise frequently into the 200's for several days, and the floaters came right back. Coincidence? I've heard that blood sugar has nothing to do with floaters, but it sure seems to with me. So I'm not allowed a break when it comes to my eyes, and you seem to have to work much harder than I do.... totally unfair.
