I voted for Edinburg (that's how we spell it in the USA, even though we pronounce it Edinboro) because it was the only city out of those listed I've ever been to, and I really enjoyed it. I won't be coming, but that didn't seem to be a prerequisite for voting :)

Ok, I chose Nottingham.

I met my husband online and he now lives here with me in Ontario Canada :)

Nottingham was a place we wanted to visit once together but didn't get a chance to go, running out of time unfortunately.

We will be going back to England although I'm not sure when, would be neat to meet anyone for a get together one day given a chance, there or anywhere.

Come on everyone, you can't seriously pick Bournemouth as a good place for a meet. I know it's the south cost but it's in the middle of nowhere. There's not even a motorway or a direct train from any real city that goes there.

Something not far from the M1, M4, M5 or M25 would be a much better bet.

i voted reading because it's closest for me. anywhere south/central would be ok for me

surely we should stick to middle placed places... if you know what i mean? like scotland would have to be alot of northerners and hardly any southerners. And same thing but other way around for bournmouth!

Unless the majority of people going live in those places.

Wondering how to justify the cost of plane tickets and accomidation to hubby.

I was in England in 2004. We visited several cities but the majority of our time was spent in Manchester. Afterall we were there primarily for soccer/football. My middle daughter participated in the Manchester Cup events. I had the hardest time with everyone off the pitch....the what??!!!?? I did eventually get it was game field.:)

You should have planned that meet when I was still living in England... 10 months ago...!!! I would have gone for Reading. Ah well...
