Hi everyone,I just wanted to say "Hello".I am so happy to have found this site.I have type1 diabetes ,diagnosed in 1992.I take Lantus at bedtime and humulog at every meal..I look forward to talking with other people about their diets and such.Patti:)

Hello welcome! I also have type 1 and have been on this forum since November of 06' I love it,it's so helpful and everyone is so nice and funny. You can find out most anything you want or needed to know ,but were afraid to ask. LOL! Just ask away,someone will get back to you.

Hi Patti,
Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info and advice about diabetes. I am now on a pump, but was previously a 4 shot a day gal. Before the pump I was a virtual pin cushion with black and blues everywhere. Do you have the same problem. I definately suggest to all who are interested getting a pump. Welcome Patti. I was diagnosed a year before you were. I would definately go with a pump if you're interested. So much more freedom and flexibility!!! Good luck. :D
