I am going to college next year and was hoping I could get some Scholarships for having D. Does anybody know where I could get some?

Google "Scholarships for diabetics." Eli Lilly apparently has one, not sure of the particulars. Could you get a regular scholarship by your grades as well?

When I was in college, my best resources for scholarships and grants were the disability resources office within the university, and the university's scholarship office. If you're in the U.S., you could also see if your state has a vocational rehabilitation type of program. They sometimes help with college costs.

Honestly, getting good SAT scores and a good GPA and a good essay is gonna help you way more than having diabetes.

True... Scholarships and grants (the kind you don't pay back) are nice! But you have to earn them. Working on campus can be a great side job, very convenient. Good luck :top:

i checked lilly and they say that i am no in their category.i will send out about 3 essays but in all honesty there are just TOO many. I have okay grades. I have a 3.6 and SAT scores will not apply to me. I am thinking of just sending in my application and seeing what they say. I am not really in need for a scholarship, but it would be nice.
