Just curious...my Dad gave me his (he thought it was too complicated) and he's got some real doozies in there that I'd like to get rid of before I start using it. I like checking my averages, and his stuff will mess me up. I realize I could just let it go until his info is old news, but that would take 90 days!
The book says that when you remove the batteries it only affects the date, not the logbook info. However, surely there's a way to unplug this things brain?!?!?

You've got 7, 14, 30, and 60 day memories which you can use in the mean time. I'm not aware of any way to erase the memory. I'm sure it would require being attached to a computer if it's possible.

You must have the cable and software downloaded to your computer in order to delete the memory. If you don't have either, ask your endo if he/she has the ability to clear your meter for you.
