Bent cannula

Can anyone explain to me why a site might go bad or all of the sudden at the end of the second day before changing site BS will spike for no known reason?
I looked at the cannula and it didn't look bent to me. :confused:

I had a site fail after just over 3 days yesterday, then the next site didn't work at all. I changed at 11:30 pm and was up throughout the night testing. I had bolused enuff to kill a Tennessee whale, but barely got er down for breakfast :( It's times like these that drive you crazy.:(

Yes, John, similar situation here. Third site change in 3 days, all different reasons. First one definitely confirmed my stomach has too much scar tissue. Second one just above the hip, back, failed for unknown reasons.

Today was the worst, I felt horribly sick and all, as I had a meal after the thing stopped working and went from 4.4 to 17.5 in six hours. And the meal wasn't carb heavy, it was 18g. There was blood in the cannula and spreading out in the plastic thingy (I use Quicksets) but I had no idea, as the site was again at the back. This was 2 hours ago and I am still wondering what happened!
