First time visiting this site. I have type 2 and I was diagnosed about a year ago. I have a family history of Diabetes Type 1 and 2. I thought I might get lucky and not get it but at 55 yrs old I was diagnosed.

Welcome J! Glad you found the forum. I, too, have a strong family history, but I didn't do a lot to avoid the big-D and it found me, at age 42. Would you care to share how you currently treat your diabetes and how it's working for you?
