I'm traveling by air for the first time since being diagnosed Type 2. I know I can bring my pills and my glucometer on board, but what I'm wondering is if I can leave my glucometer in the case and in my carry on bag, or do I have to show them at security that I have it?
I travel with mine in my carry on bag. Never a problem.

Thanks. I won't worry about it then.

Misty..........i just got back from vacation this week. Put all of your diabetic supplies in your carry-on! As a diabetic, you are also allowed to take a small juice box (to treat a low) and snacks (I took two no sugar-added pudding cups, M&M's, and peanut butter crackers) with you.
