i have heard about this. i am on pump therapy now (with OmniPod), but if i were still doing MDI, maybe i'd try this. but if you are going to stick a plastic thing on your body to wear all the time, why not get the OmniPod...

I am curious to hear people's thoughts on this. Would any of you use this? Or is anyone out there using this yet?

Seems like it could be helpful to the crowd who hate needles but can't go on the pump because of cost or other reason. Also seems great for kids going on school trips when a parent can't come along. The port insertion method of just stabbing it in there doesn't seem much better than just using needles. If I were to use this, I'd want an insertion device.

Some people remain on shots instead of pumping because pumping is expensive. Or they don't need true basal/bolus therapy. Or it's not even insulin they are injecting.
