Hello Izzi :)
Welcome to the forums.
Yep it will be confusing to start with but just take a deep breath and take one day at a time. It does get better honestly.

Welxome izzi!
A few suggestions that I have are: make sure that you choose an endo dr who is both knowledgeabe and compassionate AND make sure you like him/her. Go to a diabetes educator. Listen and ask lots of questions. And work at keeping good control to minimize the risks associated with complications. Take care!
