Ran across this interesting little tidbit, especially helpful to those on a lipid or Avandia or Actos I'd suspect.

The early effect of this blockade is stimulation of the immune system that could protect the liver, "but we don't know what the (ongoing) effects are," he added.

My liver must be bulletproof by now... LOL. I love my caffiene!!!

Wow ashy! Interesting find! I tend to put the coffee pot away when it gets warm. For some reason, it just makes me feel too hot all day or something. Anyhow maybe I should birng it back out even in the summer?!

I just started drinking coffee again, about 2 months ago, and after about 3 weeks my B/G readings, at 2 hours, were going through the roof, on the days I don't drink coffee, everything's fine. I want my coffee back.

Crikey I never knew coffee could raise bs levels. I have a latte for my breakfast at work & a couple of normal coffees during the day. That's the pits.

Yes, it is. I envy you. I got used to having my Peanut Butter and jelly sandwich(breakfast) with coffee and now :confused:back to diet Coke or decaffeinated tea.
