can anyone tell me or even be as kind as to help me figure out how to work my insulin pump remote ?

heres the deal, i bought it off of e bay on a hey look what i found i think ill bid on it kind of deal and ended up winning the bid at like 28 bucks, problem was, it didnt have the manuel with it and the seller doesnt have it or cant find it.

i mainly wanted one for those long riding trips where i can suspend the pump without taking my full attention off the road, seemed like a killer idea, if i could get it to work !

my pump is a minimed 722 and the remote is a mmt-503us.

i programmed the serial into my pump and started pushing buttons and it works, i just dont know what to do or how to do it, so the remote sits on my desk.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to the Paradigm 511 user manual, which includes the mmt-503us remote control instructions. Just scroll down to Chapter 8: Remote Control

I'm not sure that remote will work with your 522.... but don't hold me to that.......and someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The reason I say this is because my brother had the MM508 with a remote before upgrading and his remote will not work with the 715.

I was thinking the same thing Karen. I checked on their site and they do say the remote is compatible with the 522/722.

You must have "Easy Bolus" (in the Bolus menu) turned on and set, in addition to programming the remote ID in the Utilities menu.
I don't have my remote with me so I can't check the exact button sequence, but the B button is used to audio bolus (Easy Bolus) in pre-set increments. The S button is used to suspend. The Act button is used to confirm everything, just like the Act button on your pump.
I recommend experimenting with it a few times when you can give it your full attention and watch the screen to see what you're actually doing with each button press on the remote.
Good luck!
